We made it to Prayer mountain!!
Today marks our third night at prayer mountain. Upon waking up this is the view the Lord has blessed us with.
We arrived Thursday and my friend Lily and I cooked lunch & dinner for our team (10 people). Friday was our first day of work and I was not prepared for it what so ever. Our host told us to follow him with machetes and shovels and so we did. We cut down all the leafs and trees that were in the way of an incoming path. The view was awesome but it was very crazy because one false step and it’s bye bye. Definitely was walking by faith and not sight.
Muahaha you already know what I chose… MACHETE!!
Friday morning we went back to continue making a path from the top of the mountain to the bottom of the river. We got to working and instantly started pouring so we started our hike back up but the dirt become mud which made us slide down with every step up. We were drenched but we continued to work around the cabin making it look pretty for people to come and pray. We ended our night with s’mores , testimonies , worshiping and dancing.
We also hiked 2 miles to get back to town (all uphill). I asked the Lord to help me lose weight and now I know that Life and death truly is indeed in the power of the tongue. LOL
